gun control

Looking for bridges in views about the second Trump administration. I'm currently aware of four views:

    • This is the worst thing ever, I'm terrified
    • This is the best thing ever, I'm thrilled
    • I don't pay attention to politics, so far my life feels exactly the same
    • Some of the changes seem pretty cool so far, but we'll see

Where are the middle grounds? I want to know how to build bridges in my personal connections when politics comes up these days.

I don't know that I would necessarily say this is the middle ground, but when you start talking about taking away my second amendment rights, a country girl tends to become a little Less sweet

More People Should Die. Elderly people should be able to legally choose to end their life when they’re ready. In fact, any adult should be legally allowed to choose to die. They should be able to invite people, be present for their memorial service, and have a medical professional end their life.

And we should be more present with death in society. People should be able to attend their loved ones’ cremations. Embalming should be illegal.

conscious. yes. if it’s half as conscious as what it takes to buy a gun to commit suicide, that’s a great start.
